I’m 34, back in college full-time, and ready to lose this weight! I was doing WW (and/or WWO) from 7/07-3/08 and maintained a 10 lb loss. Now I am logging my fitness and food at SparkPeople and hope to take it a step further, I still have 50+ to lose to be considered healthy.
I was very active through most of my life until about eight years ago. I grew from a steady size 12 to an 18, which I have been for the past 4 years. I realized I needed to lose weight because I am missing out on the two hobbies of mine that always made me happy – soccer and dancing. Also, my father and mother have major health problems (my dad’s are weight-related) and it finally hit me that I better get my body together and live my healthiest life now, not later.
Goals:
A) Lose weight. Subgoals in order of achievement:
1) Get below 200 lbs -Done! 9/12/2007
2) Lose 10% of body weight
3) Reach overweight BMI instead of obese
4) Reach healthy BMI
5) Lose 71 lbs!
B) Get athletic so I can play soccer and dance salsa.
Currently 3 days of cardio, 3 days of sculpting
C) Stay in school. Need to finish the degree this time around. No excuses. I have to face facts: I cannot land a good IT job without a bachelors, at least not a job that pays well and that I enjoy!
D) Stay active socially.
E) Be myself!
